A Historic Venue with Plenty of Modern Charm
Watson Block is housed in one of Minneapolis’ beautiful historic buildings, which has been standing in the city’s Warehouse District for over a century. Constructed in the early 1900s, the Watson Block building was home to a fascinating variety of businesses and organizations over the decades, including the Phoenix Club, former Minnesota governor Joseph Burnquist, the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, and many more. After more than 115 years of witnessing Minneapolis history, the building has been lovingly restored and now serves as the home to Watson Block.
The charming brick and timber construction is beautifully balanced by contemporary elements, complemented by soaring ceilings and the stunning natural light provided by the venue’s large windows.
